Instant Text

Certain areas of expertise, like medicine or law, involve complicated terms, which can slow you down when composing an official document. A misspelled word may have serious consequences. With Instant Text, you can insert any word or phrase instantly, as the name clearly points out. Just type a few letters and the application will insert entire paragraphs, when you hit the Space key.

Installing Instant Text is a simple and fast procedure, but you may spend some time, if you want to activate the trial version. To request an activation key, you must type in your name and email address. Once activated, the application will become fully functional, but only for a limited period of time, after which you will have to buy a license.

Instant Text works with any text editor. Its compact interface will automatically dock with any active window, if you can type on it. While typing, the software will display various words and phrases, in separate tables. It includes a huge library of words, which are organized in different glossaries, like addresses, contact information, business and drugs. Depending on the selected glossary, Instant Text will display or insert different phrases or terms.

Each word or phrase is associated with a certain combination of letters. For example, if you select the addresses glossary, type "js" and hit the Space key, the application will insert the name and address for John Smith. You can either type the beginning of a word, to find its completed form, on the software's interface or type the exact letters and press the Space key, to insert a certain phrase. You will also notice that Instant Text can auto-correct certain spelling mistakes.

The software allows you to add your own terms and phrases to any glossary or modify existing ones. You only need to type your text and its abbreviation or any other combination of characters. Additionally, you can insert certain commands, like minimizing the active window, launching a program and many more.
